The COBOL400-L list is dedicated to those that see the value of COBOL on the IBM i (AS/400 and iSeries) platforms. Building on the strengths of iSeries platform, COBOL is an excellent choice development of robust, maintainable applications.
Since the COBOL community on the iSeries has never reached the size of the RPG community, it is often difficult to find others when a problem occurs. The COBOL400-L list is the answer. Any discussion of breaking, or bypassing, licensing key logic for any
product (Application, i5/os / OS400, or PC) is highly unethical and off-topic.
